A user with access to a given facility uploads plans of halls, warehouses and floors (PDF or PNG) and splits them into zones within the Company → Project → Facility → Location hierarchy. The list of hazard types (e.g. "Fire hazard", "Missing signage", "Damaged equipment", "Missing protective equipment") can be set up in the web panel, under the "Defect types" tab.
The inspector walks through the facility with a phone or tablet, takes a photo of the non-conformity, dictates the description by voice without putting down the notepad, and taps the exact point on the plan.
Every report can be assigned right away to the person or department responsible for removing the hazard — e.g. a shift manager, the maintenance department or a subcontractor. If the contractor has an email set, they automatically get their own account with access only to the reports assigned to them.
The status flow Open → Fixed → Confirm completion enforces two-sided confirmation: the responsible person marks the hazard as removed, and the inspector closes it only after verification. Every change is logged in the history with a date and a person — a ready audit trail in case of an inspection.
Once the walkthrough is finished, a PDF report is generated with the facility plan, numbered hazard points, photos, descriptions and the status of every report — ready to hand over to management, the party that commissioned the audit, or the archive.
On the next walkthrough of the same facility, you can immediately see whether previously reported hazards were removed, and whether the same problems keep recurring in the same spot — without digging through a stack of paper reports.
